Tammi Wheeler founded PeopleSense in 2006 with a passion to help leaders and organizations accomplish inspiring results. She partners with other experts that have years of experience and that share her mission and values, helping organizations develop their leadership, their culture, their employees and their performance. About Tammi

Tammi has a unique background of senior human resources experience, along with leadership development and organizational development consulting. She is an expert Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation and the NeuroLeadership Group and uses brain-based approaches to guide her clients to accomplish amazing break-throughs. She gets people. She gets business. She gets organizations.

For over 25 years, Tammi has worked with all levels of employees in all types of organizations from executive leadership to the vitally important employees on the front line directly serving the customers. She has led large teams of professionals and trained leaders domestically and globally in her leadership roles at Nike and Intel. She has led large-scale change efforts and developed many teams in public and private organizations. She has supported CEOs and Executive Directors leading vital, life-changing non-profits. She believes that assisting organizations to develop healthy cultures and high performance is rewarding, fun and inspiring. She is known for being authentic and asking “knotty questions”. Helping individuals achieve results beyond their dreams is what gets her out of bed in the morning. She boasts that she has the best clients in the world!

Tammi lives in beautiful and rainy Portland, Oregon with her kind husband Larry and her two dogs, Wonton and Chow Mein. She often shares the leadership lessons she has learned from her two wise and entertaining pups and invites you to sign up for her blogs which share learnings from the “WonChow Way to Leadership”.  In addition to coaching and consulting, Tammi is an adjunct instructor at Portland State University in the Human Resources and Six Sigma Certification Programs.

When not doing the work she is passionate about, you will find her hanging out with friends, enjoying book and wine clubs and relishing a good play or movie. She aspires to eat more vegetables, to do more yoga and praying and to be more mindful and present.

Tammi earned a Masters of Arts in Whole Systems Design/Organizational Development from Antioch University, and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. She is a certified professional coach of the NeuroLeadership Group and is qualified to administer a wide range of assessments and training programs including the Hogan Leadership Suite®, DISC®, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, StrengthsFinder® Strong® Facet Five®, Clark-Wilson 360 Assessments®, Development Dimensions International® (DDI) and Achieve Global®.
